Privacy
This is a place of prayer, not surveillance. Here is plainly what we hold and why.
What we hold
- Your account — email, pilgrim name, and profile details — comes from Clerk, our sign-in provider.
- Remembrances you post (the beloved's name, dates, photo, and intention) are public once a moderator approves them. Only post a photo you have the right to share.
- Wall posts and comments are public after moderation.
- Journal entries, examen responses, prayer circles, and novenas are private to your account.
- Donations and subscriptions are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Why we hold it
- To run the vigil: your account keeps your remembrances, journal, circles, and novenas together; public content exists so strangers can pray for your beloved.
- We do not run advertising, sell your data, or build profiles on you. There are no third-party trackers on this site.
Who touches it
- Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and photo storage), and Neon (the database). Each only touches what it needs to do its job.
- Moderators see pending public content before it appears — nothing private.
Your control
- Export everything we hold about you from Settings → Export.
- Delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, private content, and public posts; cancels any subscription; and removes your Clerk sign-in identity.
