1. Application
This Beta Feature Addendum ("Addendum") applies when you enable or access features labeled beta, preview, or experimental in the Black Pearls Operator Service.
By using a beta feature, you agree to this Addendum in addition to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. As-is; no SLA
Beta features are provided as-is without uptime, accuracy, or support commitments. They may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice.
The Operator may cap usage, disable features per account, or require separate acknowledgment before each session.
3. Screenshot import (vision OCR)
You may upload images of hypothetical positions for proposed ticker extraction. You represent that you have the right to upload the image and that it does not contain third-party personal data you are not authorized to process.
Extracted rows are proposals only; you must verify symbols, quantities, and concentrations before saving. Images are processed transiently and are not retained after extraction completes.
Vision model output may misread tickers, decimals, or currencies. You assume all risk from acting on unverified imports.
4. Feedback and telemetry
We may log errors, latency, and aggregate usage to improve beta features. You grant a perpetual, royalty-free license to use feedback you voluntarily provide to improve the Service.
5. Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's aggregate liability arising from beta features is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), consistent with Section 13 of the Terms of Service.
